Stephen Petrofsky, DPM
Dr. Petrofsky attended medical school at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduating in 1974, he completed his residency at Kensington Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Petrofsky is board certified in podiatric surgery and podiatric medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in podiatry and is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a past president of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Petrofsky has hospital affiliations with Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Bayfront Health of Port Charlotte, and Gulf Pointe Surgery Center. He specializes in geriatric foot care, wound care, ruptured tendons, and has a focus on CO2 laser treatments. He has been in practice since 1975.
